The government, through the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sport, has asked parents and guardians to allow their children to participate in sports activities as they do so by preparing them for their future as sports are jobs.

This was stated by deputy secretary of the Sports Council of Tanzania (BMT) in favor of Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sport Dr Harrison Mwakyembe at the launch of Go-karting training involving children learning to drive cars that will also include motorcycle racing, organized by Auto Mobile association Tanzania (AAT) where he has curtailed the Institute by teaching the children the  road safety .

"When someone is trained at an early age he becomes more competent when he is a senior than a graduate of school and so I highly recommend AAT for this extra training, it will help to reduce road accidents" said Msita.

He also asked the Institution to reach the ministry's office so that they could receive more information on the sports field in the Kigamboni district.

Commenting on the abolition of the sports equipment tax he said that the Government cannot cancel the tax directly unless the procedure can be done on something that is in the public interest, the sports ministry can contact the finance ministry.

On the head of the Education and Training   Police Headquarters,  Abel Swai, demanded that parents be in control of the use and control of firearms, by allowing young children to use home vehicles to avoid accidents. .

Earlier, AAT President Nizar Jivan, called on the government to grant the sports venue they requested in front of Minister Mwakyembe when he inaugurated the race known as Rary Africa last year at a southern sun hotel in Dar es Salaam city .

"We are the first people to teach children to drive with the safety features on the continent, others teach Go-kating alone, when a child leaves here he has been a driver and by the age of 18 is licensed," he said.

And some of the children participating in the training expressed their joy in receiving the training by saying that they would benefit once they were big enough to fulfill their dreams.
